Use

Use to configure system-wide settings for Domain Name System (DNS), which allows the name-to-IP resolution of domain names.

Note: By default, the system comes with a ready-to-use DNS configuration. You can use the default servers or configure the system to use your own servers.

An object uses the default data value when one of the following is true:

  • For objects without bases–When the object’s default key is true.
  • For objects with bases–When the object’s default key is true, and when the default key is true for all of the object’s bases.
